This horse and rider are an illustrious frieze on the walls of the Hotel d’ Ville – whilst at a residency at
the Cité des Arts in Paris, this whole composition reflects what I saw and observed in the Marais
district. The sundial, patterns, and gold leaf echo the Louvre and exquisite interiors of Rue Rivoli. Paris, its architecture and interiors, will always be a magical place.
